Our 7-day Serengeti Great-Migration safari takes you into the northern, western, or southern Serengeti, depending on the region of the incredible migration at the time, and gives you the best chance to see incredible jumps and close calls as you spend multiple evenings and days in the world-famous Serengeti National Park.
The Calving Season runs from December to March, the Green Season runs from April to June and November to Mid-December, and the River Crossing Grumeti and Mara River runs from July to October.

3 Hours Before Flight Time
The most famous of all Tanzania’s safari areas and often acting the link between the exceptional experiences that the country can offer is the fabled Serengeti National Park, its endless plains home to abundant game and site of the annual Great Migration of over a million wildebeest and zebra. Dubbed the Greatest Show on Earth, this fascinating spectacle moves continually through the Serengeti, across the borders to Kenya’s masai Mara and back down again. Its endless cycle of life and death enthrals first time visitors and lifelong safari fanatics alike.
Depending on your flight arrival time, if you arrive later than planned in the evening, one of our drivers will meet you at the airport and drive you 45 minutes (JRO) to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at the reserved lodging for the evening. If you arrive earlier than planned in the morning, you will be greeted at the airport and Arusha.
We will pick you up from your Arusha hotel early in the morning and take you to Lake Manyara Public Park. The northwest bank and a portion of the antacid Lake Manyara, which is located in the Incomparable Crack Valley, are part of the recreation center. The recreation center is perhaps best known for its flamingos, pelicans, and cormorants, but it also houses two or three hundred different species of birds, making it a haven for ornithologists. The “Major case” can also be seen next to an incredible variety of birds.
Elephants and tree-climbing lions can be seen in the lush areas if karma is on your side, and tree-climbing lions with slightly more luck. For a long time, it was believed that the Lake Manyara Public Park was the only place where lions could be found scaling trees abnormally. After a cookout lunch, there will be more opportunities to watch wildlife and wild life before it’s time to return to your Lodge.
Breakfast is served at 7:00 a.m. On the way to Serengeti Public Park, we went on a game drive. The Serengeti is Tanzania’s largest and most renowned preserve, famous for its endless plains, wildebeest migration, lion prides, and various hunters such as hyenas, cheetahs, and panthers. From December to March, this visit takes you to the southern Serengeti (Ndutu), in April/May/June (Central Serengeti and Grumeti Waterway), and from July to October, this visit takes you to the Mara Stream, where the yearly extraordinary movement crossing takes place. In the early evening, you drive in transit to the Serengeti’s focal point for a photographic safari of the enormous felines. Supper and overnight at the camp/Lodge.
Prepare yourself for a morning game drive in the Serengeti’s central region. After breakfast, return to your hotel and begin your journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, with a game drive along the way. Arrive at Simba Camping Area for supper and an overnight stay with a fantastic view of the pit. Simba Campground is the only normal camping area in the area, and the offices can be difficult at times. For those who are planning on setting up camp, we recommend spending the night in one of the hotels.
A full day in the Ngorongoro Crater. The chances of seeing the big five in one day are very high: lion, rhino, elephant, bison, and panther. Lunch will be served on the pit floor at the cookout area. Travel to the grocery store in the early evening for supper and an overnight stay.
Start driving to Arusha after breakfast. Drop off at your hotel or airport for a flight to another destination/return.
